- Flybe launched two new services this week connecting the Channel Island of Guernsey to Liverpool and London Southend Airport. The first route to launch was between Guernsey (GCI) and London Southend Airport (SEN) on 20 May. The 332-kilometre sector distance will operate daily utilising a ATR7 aircraft. In addition to this route, Guernsey (GCI) to Liverpool (LPL) was also launched on 20 May. The route will utilise an ATR7 to cover the 433-kilometre distance twice-weekly. It is important to note that both routes will operate under Flybe’s franchise partner Blue Islands and will face no direct competition from any other carriers.
