Loganair lands in Manchester with flights from Derry

Officials celebrate the launch of the six times weekly service between the City of Derry and Manchester. The route was previously operated by Flybe until 2011.

  • Loganair has commenced operations on 25th May between City of Derry (LDY) and Manchester (MAN). The six times weekly service will be operated every day except Satudays by a 49-seat Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft. On weekdays, the outbound service leaves Derry at 11:15, touching down in Manchester at 12:25, with the return leg departing Manchester at 12:55, arriving back in Derry at 14:05. On Sundays, the flight departs Derry at 14:00, landing in Manchester at 15:10, with the service back to Derry leaving Manchester at 15:40 and arriving at 16:50. According to OAG Schedules Analyser, no other carrier currently serves the 367-kilometre route.
