Air Serbia connects Helsinki to Belgrade

  • Air Serbia launched its latest route on 1 May, adding Helsinki (HEL) to its network from Belgrade (BEG) using its fleet of A320 and CRJ aircraft. According to OAG Schedules Analyser the 1,749 kilometre sector distance will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays to better serve and offer smoother transfers via Belgrade Airport for passengers travelling to Tirana, Sofia, Dubrovnik, Split, Larnaca, Athens, Thessaloniki, Beirut, Skopje, Podgorica, Tivat, Bucharest and Krasnodar. Finavia CEO Kimmo Mäki commented on the route saying “We are happy to have another new airline at Helsinki Airport, opening another important direct connection between European capitals.”
