Hainan takes on Rome from Shenzhen

Hainan Airlines launched a nonstop service between Rome Fiumicino and Shenzhen on 30 May.   • Hainan Airlines launched operations from Shenzhen (SZX) to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) in Italy on 30 May. The carrier will serve the 9,246 kilometre route twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) using its fleet of B787s. According to OAG Schedules Analyser no other airline presently links the Chinese and Italian cities. Hainan also presently serves nonstop services between Chongqing and Xi’an to Rome Fiumicino.
