LOT Polish Airlines Warsaw to Miami.
LOT Polish Airlines this week celebrated the launch of year-round services between Warsaw and Miami. The route also holds additional significance as being the only nonstop connection between Florida and Poland, and becomes MIA’s 24th European destination. - LOT Polish Airlines on 01 June launched direct flights between Warsaw Frederic Chopin (WAW) and Miami International Airport (MIA). The four times weekly service will be operated by the Star Alliance carrier on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. According to OAG Schedules Analyser, LOT is the sole carrier operating on the 8,488-kilometre route. Lester Sola, MIA Director and CEO said at the launch: “We proudly welcome LOT Polish Airlines’ Warsaw service. We are honored to be their first destination in Florida and to be part of their ongoing expansion into North America.” Rafal Milczarski, CEO LOT Polish Airlines added: “At present there are nearly 500,000 people of Polish origin living in Florida. We are very glad that we can meet the expectations and needs of the Polish Diaspora in America who now…can take advantage of direct flights on the route between Poland and the U.S.”
