Albawings staff celebrate the launch of services between Tirana and Dusseldorf. This comes as the Albanian low cost carrier expands out of its traditional Italian market this summer, with services to London Stansted expected to commence on 13 June.
- Albawings on 02 June launched seasonal services between Tirana (TIA) and Dusseldorf (DUS), scheduled to operate until 24 October. The 1,476-kilometre route will be operated twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays using 170-seat 737-400 aircraft, with an additional weekly service being added on Tuesdays from 25 June. According to OAG Schedules Analyser, no other carrier currently serves the route, although Eurowings is set to commence twice weekly operations between the two cities from 15 July.
