easyJet added Montpelier to its network on 02 June, with Bristol Airport baking this hot air balloon-themed cake to celebrate the new route to the city in the South of France. Flown twice-weekly, the route faces no direct competition.
- easyJet launched flights between Bristol (BRS) and Montpelier Mediterranee on 02 June. To celebrate the commencement of this new route the airline baked a hot air balloon-themed cake. The cake is inspired by the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta which is held annually in England in mid-August and dates back to 1979. According to OAG Schedules Analyser the 998-kilometre sector faces no direct competition from any other carrier and will use an A320 aircraft on Wednesdays and Sundays to operate this exciting new route.
