Wizz Air selects Baden and Castellón

  • Wizz Air launched three additional new routes, with the first launched between the Romanian city of Sibiui (SBZ) to Baden-Baden (FKB) on 17 June. The twice-weekly route will operate an A320 to cover the 1,249-kilometre sector. The second route to be launched was between Budapest (BUD) to Castellón (CDT) on 20 June. According to OAG Schedules Analyser the 1,720-kilometre sector will also operate this sector twice-daily on an A320. The last of the routes will be between Katowice (KTW) and Castellón also on 20 June. The twice-weekly route will use a fleet of A320s to cover the 1,862-kilometre sector. No other carriers currently operate on the three new routes launched by the LCC.
