Pegasus paints a picture with new Venice connection

Alice Biondi, Commercial and Marketing, Aviation at SAVE Group and the Pegasus crew cut the ribbon on the carrier’s inaugural service between Venice Marco Polo and Istanbul Sabhia Gocken.

  • Pegasus on 05 July commenced year-round flights between Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and the carrier’s hub in Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). The 1,461-kilometre route, which was previously unserved, is to be operated four times weekly by the carrier’s Boeing 737-800 fleet. According to OAG Mapper, Venice becomes the fourth Italian destination served by Pegasus in S19 from the Turkish capital, with existing destinations including Bologna, Milan Bergamo and Rome Fiumicino.
