Air Mauritius arrives back in the Seychelles

Airport staff and the crew celebrate the relaunch of Air Mauritius’ route to Seychelles International. A total of 19 destinations are currently being served from Seychelles International in summer 2019, including five routes to Europe. Emirates’ Dubai service is the busiest route operated from the airport by seat capacity in S19, according to OAG, with the Gulf carrier establishing itself as the airport’s second largest after Air Seychelles.

  • Air Mauritius on 02 July relaunched flights between Mauritius (MRU) and Seychelles International (SEZ) after a 14 year hiatus. The 1,765-kilometre route will be operated twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays by the carrier’s 132-seat A319. According to OAG Schedules Analyser, the route will be served year-round, with Air Seychelles competing on the sector five times a week.
