Air Serbia Niš to Nürnberg

Air Serbia launched direct flights between Niš and 15 July. To celebrate the new route a cake cutting ceremony took place in which (right) Christian Kaeser, Head of Aviation Marketing & Business Development, Nürnberg Airport was also present.

  • Air Serbia commenced a twice-weekly service between Niš (NIS) and Nürnberg (NUE) on 15 July.  According to OAG Schedules Analyser the carrier will utilise an A320 aircraft to operate the 1,070-kilometre route, which faces no direct competition. Commenting on the route launch was Jiri Marek, General Manager of Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia  “We are very pleased to be connecting Niš to Nuremberg, a new destination in Germany and the first that we will serve from the south of Serbia. With this flight today, Niš Constantine the Great Airport is officially becoming a hub for our aircraft alongside the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. We are certain that better connections to Germany will contribute to the strengthening of commercial activities and tourism between our two countries”.
