Dignitaries cut the cake at the launch of Go Air’s services between Abu Dhabi and Mumbai, with the Indian low cost carrier also launching services to Muscat this week from its Mumbai hub (cover photo).
- Go Air, one of India’s up-and-coming low cost carriers, launched on 19 July daily services between its Mumbai (BOM) hub and the Gulf cities of Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Muscat (MCT). Both routes will be operated year-round by the carrier’s 180-seat A320 fleet. According to OAG Schedules Analyser, the 1,968-kilometre Abu Dhabi route is served three times daily by Etihad Airways, and daily by both Air India and Indigo. Oman Air offers a double daily service on the 1,590-kilometre Muscat route, with Air India and IndiGo operating between the two cities daily.
