Himalaya Airlines drops into Dhaka

Dignitaries mark the launch of Himalaya Airlines’ three times weekly service between Kathmandu and Dhaka. The route is expected to operate seasonally until 26 October.
- Himalaya Airlines commenced direct operations between its Kathmandu (KTM) hub and Dhaka (DAC). The thrice weekly will be operated by the privately owned carrier’s 158-seat A320 fleet. Biman Bangladesh also serves the 660-kilometre route with a daily flight, according to OAG Schedules Analyser.
