Air China Beijing to Nice
The crew celebrate Air China’s inaugural flight between Beijing and Nice. Dominique Thillaud, CEO Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, highlighted at the launch Nice’s standing as France’s main airport outside of Paris, as well as the “numerous economic opportunities of the route for the region”.
- Air China on 02 August connected Beijing (PEK) and Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE) for the first time with a three times weekly service. The seasonal route will be operated by an 237-seat Airbus A330-200 until 25 October, according to OAG Analyser, and marks the first direct connection between Nice and China. According to the airport, connecting passenger demand to Nice has risen 51% over the past five years, with over 83,000 guests from China welcomed through its doors in 2018.
