At the cake cutting ceremony for Korean Air’s new Clark to Seoul route were: Engr Joshua Bingcang, SVP – Business Development and Operations, Bases Conversion Development Authority; Carolina Uy, Regional Director, Department of Tourism, Region 3; Bi Yong Chungunco, Chief Executive Officer, Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD Corp), Clark International Airport; Honorable Arthur “Art” Tugade, Secretary, Department of Transportation; Cheol Lee, Regional Manager, Korean Air and Noemi Julian, Tourism Promotions Manager, Clark Development Corporation.
- Korean Air recently launched daily flights between Clark International and Seoul on 27 October. The route is operated by a 218-seat A330-200. Three other carriers will compete directly: Asiana Airlines (twice-weekly Tuesdays/Saturdays), Jin Air (daily) and Philippines Air Asia (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). In the year to October 2019, 1.4 million passengers flew from Seoul to Clark and Manila combined.
