Lufthansa connects Tallinn with Munich

- Lufthansa saw the launch of Munich to Tallinn services this week, amidst the carrier’s significant expansion at Munich Airport and the news of two additional A380s joining the based fleet in 2020. In short-haul markets in 2019-20, Munich has seen the launch of Minsk flights (Belavia, 15 July) and Kransnodar (Azimuth Airlines, December 2019). Routes coming include Newcastle (Lufthansa, February 2020) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan Airways, S20). Tallinn has been served in the past by different operators, including Nordica (until March 2019) and Estonian Air. In the 12 months to October 2019, 18,000 passengers flew between Munich and Tallinn, of which 13,000 were indirect.
