2019’s Cake of the Year revealed; start sending us your 2020 entries!

Gainesville Airport was the worthy winner of anna.aero’s 2019 Cake of the Year contest. This sporting example celebrated the launch of Gainesville to Dallas/Fort Worth flights back in March; a vital gateway to the world for this Floridian regional airport.

Polls close in tight Cake of the Year race

After a flurry of voting over the past three weeks, the polls have closed, the anna.aero team’s New Year hangovers have cleared and we can reveal the winner! In the end, it was an all-Floridian two-horse race, with a closely fought battle between Gainesville Airport and Tampa International. But, with 32% of the vote, your 2019 Cake of the Year is Gainesville Airport! Tampa International finished a close second in the end, with 28%, while St John’s International was a commendable third at 10%. Well done to all entrants.

Manchester Airport kicks off 2020 with Cake of the Week win

Our first Cake of the Week 2020 kicked off in style, with Manchester Airport entering a fantastic Bangladesh-themed example for the new Dhaka – Sylhet – Manchester route. Get sending us your cakes for the chance to be our next winner!
