Wizz Air launches Turku from Larnaca

Larnaca to Turku

Cutting ribbon were: Petri Vuori, Vice President Sales and Route Development, Finavia; Anne-Marget Hellén, Director of Tourism, Visit Turku; Mikko Komi, Key Account and Business Development Manager, Finavia; and Juha Aaltonen, Area Director (and Turku Airport Manager) Finavia. Mikko told anna.aero that the cake was strawberry as the fruit is in peak season and tasted brilliant.  We’d like some! Source of photos: Jukka Parviainen.

Wizz Air on 12 July began its new service between Larnaca, one of its new bases, and Turku.

The 2,966-kilometre route operates twice-weekly year-round.

In addition to Larnaca, Wizz Air now has seven routes from the Finnish airport: Belgrade; Gdansk; Kaunas; Krakow; Skopje; and Warsaw.
