SAUDIA resumed services linking Vienna with Riyadh and Jeddah on 1 July 2021. An A320 is deployed for two weekly frequencies on both routes to the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh and to the important Saudi seaport of Jeddah.

Following a break of more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the airline has once again added Vienna to its route network. In accordance with the new entry regulations, fully vaccinated travellers from third countries are allowed to enter Austria without having to go into quarantine (starting 14 days after the second vaccination).

The aircraft heading from Vienna to Riyadh will depart on Thursdays and Sundays at 16:00, while flights to Jeddah will depart from Vienna at 16:00 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
