Brussels Airport has welcomed not one but two new Air Belgium destinations: Curaçao via Punta Cana. All passengers on the first flight were surprised with a delicious breakfast and the aircraft was waved off by the airport’s fire brigade. Whereas Punta Cana is already served from Brussels Airport, Curaçao is a brand-new direct destination. The route will be operated twice-weekly.

Thanks to this new route, Air Belgium now serves three destinations from Brussels Airport after it launched Mauritius on 15 October 2021, and more routes are expected to be announced in 2022. As from January, Air Belgium’s second new A330-900neo is ready to hit the skies and will replace the temporary A340-300.
