Brussels Airport has celebrated the inaugural TUI service to Havana. Passengers on the first flight were welcomed to an exotically decorated gate and surprised with a delicious breakfast buffet and spectacular cake.

Brussels Airport has celebrated the inaugural TUI service to Havana. Passengers on the first flight were welcomed to an exotically decorated gate and surprised with a delicious breakfast buffet.

Brussels Airport also organised a cake cutting and ribbon cutting with Piet Demunter, Chief Business Development Officer, Brussels Airport, Erik Follet, Director Aviation Planning, TUI fly, and Yaira Jiménez Roig, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Belgium, before the flight took off.

The brand-new route will be operated once a week with a B787-Dreamliner. Havana is the second Cuban destination for TUI fly at Brussels Airport – the airline also operates a weekly flight to Varadero.
