Previously stepping up as headline sponsor for a fifth consecutive year in 2019 (we truly believe we would be announcing this year as the eighth year in a row had it not been for the pandemic), Airbus continues its reign as a huge supporter of the Budapest Runway Run this September. Having signed up their own team of strong runners and taking home the ‘Fastest Aviation Enterprise’ trophy on two separate occasions in years gone by, 2022 sees the global manufacturer rounding up another team in the hope of adding to the trophy cabinet. and Budapest Airport continue to be serious about bringing the world’s aviation community together at one single sporting event for the benefit of its chosen charities. The runway run consists of two race distances – 10km and 5km – there’s also a children’s run of 1.5km to get the family involved. Runners can take part on an individual basis, or form teams of five or more.
