Tampa International Airport has celebrated the inaugural Frontier Airlines service to St. Louis with a spectacular cake. The route is operated four times weekly.

Tampa International Airport has celebrated the inaugural Frontier Airlines service to St. Louis with a spectacular cake. The route is operated four times weekly. With the new service, Frontier serves a total of seven nonstop destinations from STL and 18 nonstop destinations from TPA.

“As temperatures in the Midwest plunge, now is the time to take advantage of ‘Low Fares Done Right’ for some sunny Florida weather,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial, Frontier Airlines. “We’re proud of our partnerships with STL and TPA that serve to provide affordable, convenient travel options for those in the greater St. Louis and Tampa Bay areas.”

Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, St. Louis Lambert International Airport Director, commented: “We are always pleased to announce new flights as well as new destinations. We congratulate Frontier Airlines on bringing new service to Tampa and know warm markets are always important to our passengers. We look forward to this added service and thank Frontier Airlines for their growing partnership.”

Meanwhile, Tampa International Airport has also celebrated Avelo’s inaugural flight to Lexington, KY with an amazing cake.
