Melbourne Airport has welcomed the resumption of Garuda Indonesia services to Jakarta. The route will initially be operated weekly before increasing to twice-weekly. The occasion was marked with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at Melbourne Airport.

Jim Parashos, Chief of Aviation, Melbourne Airport and Kuncoro Giri Waseso, Consul General of Indonesia, provided a warm welcome to senior executives of Garuda Indonesia, including the CEO Irfan Setiaputra, CCO Ade Susardi, and Country Manager Purwa Adi Gurnita.

Indonesia is a priority market for Melbourne Airport and a popular destination for Victorians.
