Quito will play host to some 800 delegates in mid-February for the 11th annual Routes Americas conference. The capital of Ecuador is on a high at the moment with a second Madrid connection thanks to Air Europa, while Condor will add Frankfurt from Q3 2018. However, the ventures come after several years of decline.

Phnom Penh is Cambodia’s second largest airport after Siem Reap, handling just under 3.39 million passengers in 2016. Along with Emirates, a further five new carriers have arrived at the airport since S16. Singapore Changi between January and August this year handled 41.1 million passengers, up from the 38.9 million it processed during the same period of 2016. In June this year the airport passed the 60 million annual passenger milestone, while for the calendar year it anticipates hitting 62.04 million passengers.
