A total of 23 routes were launched by 13 airlines during the course of last week, including LEVEL inaugurating its fourth route from its recently opened Vienna base, Arkia Israeli Airlines taking flight for Bangkok from Tel Aviv, plus Tigerair Taiwan making Saga its latest destination in Japan.
A total of 39 routes were launched by 21 airlines during the course of last week, including Delta Air Lines resuming service between Atlanta and Shanghai Pudong after a six-year hiatus, fastjet opening a second domestic route from Harare, plus Turkish Airlines inaugurating its latest sector to Kuwait City.
A total of 30 routes were inaugurated by 20 airlines during the course of last week, including China Southern Airlines going long-haul on new routes into London Heathrow and Rome Fiumicino, Cambodia Airways expanding from Phnom Penh, plus Philippines AirAsia adding an international spoke from Clark.
A total of 68 routes were inaugurated by 45 airlines during the past seven days, including Southwest Airlines adding two services to San Antonio, Tianjin Airlines commencing its latest route to Moscow Sheremetyevo, plus Emirates adding a new spoke to its South American network.

A total of 69 routes were launched by 29 airlines during the course of the past week, including United Airlines initiating flights to Iceland, YanAir linking Odessa with Krakow, plus Jet2.com expanding its network from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and Manchester.
A total of 82 routes were launched by 42 airlines during the course of last week, including British Airways adding a new spoke to its London Heathrow network, WOW air setting sail for St. Louis, plus Lanmei Airlines linking Phnom Penh and Siem Reap with two Chinese cities.
67 new routes have been started by 38 carriers this week, including seven new services from Ryanair, Azul Airlines introducing Fort Lauderdale to its Recife network, and Jazeera Airways connecting Kuwait City with Mumbai.
