EGYPTAIR is to launch a year-round direct Dublin-Cairo service, commencing on 2 June 2022. The route will be operated four times per week and will be Ireland’s first scheduled service to Egypt.
Singapore Airlines has announced it will recommence direct services between Cairns Airport and Singapore. The route will be operated three times per week, beginning on 28 March 2022, and becomes the sixth Australian destination in Singapore Airlines’ network.

Rochester International Airport wins Cake of Week for Sun Country launches to Fort Myers and Phoenix
Sun Country Airlines has begun new, nonstop service from Rochester International Airport to Fort Myers, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona. Both routes to Southwest Florida International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are operated twice-weekly.
At the end of March, the Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia will launch a three times weekly service from Riga to Amsterdam, becoming the 14th airline to offer passenger flights from Latvia this year.
Emirates has expanded its Gatwick service to double-daily, with the airport served by both the 777 and the A380. The introduction of the second daily Gatwick service takes Emirates’ total UK weekly flights to 91.
