Aer Arann plans more ‘long-haul’ flights with franchise arrangementYes, Ryanair and Aer Lingus aren’t the only successful Irish airlines. ATR operator Aer Arann carries over one million passengers per annum and operates from four bases. This summer a franchise arrangement will enable it to offer new routes to France, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain from Irish regional airports. It also has a thriving charter business.
