Air North, Yukon’s Airline, has celebrated a new, twice-weekly direct connection to Toronto Pearson Airport. It is Canada’s first-ever scheduled direct service between Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Toronto. Passengers on the inaugural service were met by a special event, celebrating its cultural and economic significance.

Edmonton Airport set to record 7.8 million terminal passengers for 2018; ULCCs Flair Airlines and Swoop drive second consecutive year of growth
Edmonton Airport handled 7.38 million terminal passengers in 2017, returning to growth after two years of declining traffic. Figures for 2018 suggest that it was on target to exceed 7.80 million passengers by the end of December. Nick Preston takes a closer look at the Albertan airport’s network developments.
