Ryanair’s new Director of New Route Development, Ken O’Toole, signed up to take part in the ACI EUROPE/anna.aero “BASEJUMPING” initiative at the 2nd Joint ACI EUROPE/anna.aero Network Planning Marketplace hosted by Aena at ACI EUROPE’s Airport Exchange in Barcelona 23-25 November 2009. Participation by the world’s most active network planner was seen as vital to the future success of the low cost airline base development exercise.
Vueling CEO Alex Cruz will lead the merged clickair/Vueling participation in “BASEJUMPING” at the 2nd Joint ACI EUROPE-anna.aero Network Planning Marketplace hosted by Aena Spanish airports in November. BASEJUMPING is a session of the event entirely devoted to the route opportunities presented by the bases of a particular large low cost carrier. Three other airlines have been invited to adopt a BASEJUMPING session.
