American Airlines is Chicago O’Hare’s second largest airline after United Airlines, with the oneworld member operating 35% of weekly seat capacity from the US hub this summer. Overall the carrier has increased its seats from O’Hare by 3.4% this year, however the level of growth varies in different sectors.
American Airlines now connects Chicago O’Hare, IL and Dallas/Fort Worth, TX to Bismarck, ND as well as Miami, FL to Cap-Haitien with daily flights.
Allegiant Air starts domestic flights from Orlando Sanford, FL to Charlottesville, VA, Springfield, IL, Bismarck, ND; and from St Petersburg/Clearwater, FL to Columbus, OH and Fargo, ND.
Frontier Airlines now flies from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle and Portland.
