Interjet launches twice-daily flights from Mexico City to Leon/Guanajuato and San Luis Potosi.
This week we let the boss out on a day trip to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport to cover the inaugural flight by Qatar Airways from Doha. Inevitably, he managed to get out onto the airfield to share in the ‘Arch of Triumph’ moment.
A total of 28 new routes were launched by Delta Air Lines from 14 US airports in two days, with an average frequency of just 2.4 flights per week.
Aeromexico starts flights from Guanajuato Airport and Guadalajara Airport in Mexico to San Francisco Airport in US; and Mexico City Airport in Mexico to Quito Airport in Ecuador.
Delta Air Lines commences daily flights from Los Angeles, CA to Leon/Guanajuato, in Mexico.
Volaris starts flying from Uruapan to Los Angeles, CA, and from Guanajuato to Chicago Midway, IL.
Interjet now serves 28 destinations from Mexico City of which 24 are domestic.
Volaris adds three new routes each served twice-weekly. Cancun linked to Aguascalientes and León.
