The Adelaide-Launceston route is one of Adelaide’s top unserved domestic routes and Adelaide Airport was excited to welcome Virgin Australia’s introduction of a three per week service on this unserved route on 7 September 2021. Virgin Australia will be operating to the ‘Apple Isle’ every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Skytrans has begun operating on the Cairns to Horn Island to Bamaga route. Horn Island to Bamaga is the shortest regular passenger flight with a high capacity aircraft in Australia, taking just 10 minutes. Special cupcakes were shared with passengers to celebrate the inaugural service on the route.
