easyJet has added over two million seats this summer to Greece, Portugal, Turkey, and Egypt versus S19. The carrier’s top-20 routes have seen a big shakeup.

UK airports see international passenger numbers grow by 4.5% in 2014 H1; Canary Islands lead ‘summer sun’ surge
International air travel from the UK grew faster in the first half of 2014 than in the previous year. Popular summer sun destinations such as the Canary Islands, Greece and Portugal have been performing well, but one major EU country market (which grew rapidly last year) has seen a decline this year.
