Germany’s relatively robust economy could still only support a 1% growth in total airport passengers in 2012, while domestic demand dipped by almost 4%. But anna.aero has identified over 120 new services starting from the country’s airports in 2013. See which airlines are banking on the German economy for generating new revenues this summer.

Last week Ryanair blamed Budapest Airport’s “increased charges” for deep 40% capacity cuts involving axing 10 routes and withdrawing two based aircraft. On closer examination anna.aero found indicators that the main reason seems to have been ‘good’ old-fashioned under-performance.
