Air Greenland serves an island with a population of 56,500 people, meaning that the carrier flew approximately 7.5 passengers per head in 2016. 54 new routes were launched in the last week, with the most airports involved located in the United States, followed by Italy. 25 European countries are represented as well as the US, Canada, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, UAE, Afghanistan, Greenland, Kuwait, Oman and Singapore.
