The start of September sees increased activity on the new route front. Nearly 30 new routes from 18 airlines covering Africa, Australia, Europe, India, Middle East, New Zealand, South America and the USA. Something for everyone.

Gulf Air is older than any of the region’s ‘megacarriers’ and is now 100% Bahrain-owned. It is using sport to help promote its brand across the globe but its route network is limited in Europe and North America. But it now serves eight destinations in India. Which ones?
Several of its original owners may have gone off to start their own national airlines, but Gulf Air is still a major player in the Middle East.
