In the ninth month of 2016 Airbus and Boeing passed the milestone of 1,000 unit deliveries, with a total of 1,025 aircraft having been delivered by both companies between January and September. Overall Boeing handed over 10 more aircraft than its European counterpart last month. However Airbus is catching up in regards to narrow-body units.
