Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways has been operating successfully for over six years now, but which routes does it serve and how often? How big is its fleet and what competition does it face from Kuwait Airways and other carriers in the region?
54 new routes were launched in the last week, with the most airports involved located in the United States, followed by Italy. 25 European countries are represented as well as the US, Canada, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, UAE, Afghanistan, Greenland, Kuwait, Oman and Singapore.
Less than 18 months old, Bahrain Air now serves 16 regional destinations from its base. But how fierce is the competition on each route and which new routes may be starting soon?
This week we counted over 60 new routes though Ryanair accounted for over half of them. But Air Canada, Air New Zealand, airBaltic, Bahrain Air, Eastern Airways, easyJet, Iberia, Levriero Fly (a new airline), LOT and vivaaerobus were among those carriers with something to celebrate this week
This week sees the launch of over 30 new routes from the likes of AeroSvit, Air China, Air Europa, Air Italy, AirTran, Alaska Airlines, blu-express, BlueWings, China Southern, clickair, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta, easyJet, Flybe, Jazeera, JetStar, Kingfisher, Lufthansa, MIAT Mongolian, Pegasus, Pluna, Porter, Transavia and Zambezi Airlines. That pretty much covers all four corners of the globe!
