The airport is aiming to increase passenger numbers by 25% over the next five years, and the discussion turned to targets for new routes and infrastructure development plans.

Leeds Bradford for this upcoming winter season will welcome connections to the capitals of Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia, three of which will be flown by Ryanair. The airport has also welcomed two new carriers this summer. Last year the UK airport welcomed just over 3.4 million passengers, with 3.6 million expected this year.
