Miami International Airport (MIA) has welcomed the return of Air Canada’s three times weekly service to Vancouver. The route, which was last served in 2004, gives MIA its longest North American route and nonstop flights to its largest unserved North American market.
Aer Lingus has resumed its three times weekly service between Dublin and Miami. Miami-Dade County and Aer Lingus officials celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Miami International Airport, including refreshments for departing passengers. Aer Lingus is operating the Dublin-Miami service with A330-300 aircraft.
Frontier Airlines has launched three new routes from New York Stewart International Airport to destinations in Florida. On 25 October, the airline launched a four times weekly service to Orlando. This was followed on 2 November with three times weekly services to both Miami and Tampa.
