Alaska Airlines adds new seasonal service from Las Vegas to Mammoth Lakes with twice-weekly flights, using Horizon Air’s Q400s.
Alaska Airlines starts four new domestic routes, two from Anchorage, AK; one from Seattle, WA; and another one from San Diego, CA.
United links Mammoth Yosemite Airport to San Diego (daily) and Santa Ana (four-times weekly) during winter season using SkyWest CRJ700s.
Ahead of Christmas, we have seen 83 new routes launch! You might have thought that route launch celebrations would be more low-key as Christmas celebrations take over, but we dare almost say it has been the contrary. We have fantastic photos from route launches all across the world!
Over 60 new routes this week from 30 airlines. Countries involved in celebrating new services include Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Fiji, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Libya, Lithuania, Netherlands, Nepal, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, and the USA. Phew, I guess that’s what you’d call global coverage
