AirAsia grew by 23% from Kota Kinabalu in 2018 and added two international links; operates a 20-destination network from the airport

The latest addition to the portfolio of carriers operating at Kota Kinabalu was China Eastern Airlines’ subsidiary Shanghai Airlines on 15 July. AirAsia adds two new routes from Kuching Airport and from Miri Airport, all with just three to four weekly flights.
AirAsia Zest adds Macau and Miri to its Manila network bringing to 16 the number of destinations served from its main hub.
Malindo Air launches daily services from Kuala Lumpur Airport to both Sibu Airport and Miri Airport.
