JetBlue Airways currently has a 13-route network from Long Beach, having transported 2.90 million passengers from the Los Angeles airport in 2017. Jonathan Ford looks further into the airline’s schedule which shows capacity will be cut by over 30% this winter, with Southwest Airlines filling some of the void.
Spirit Airlines increased Houston Intercontinental traffic by 18% in Q1 2018; airport accounts for 8.2% of the airline’s annual traffic
Spirit Airlines is one of the leading ULCCs at Houston Intercontinental Airport, handling a network of 20 destinations. Jonathan Ford looks at the carrier’s recent growth from the Texan hub, which it has served since September 2012, including its top connections and its focus on international markets.
