5th US ANNIES honours Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Allegiant Air; Azul Airlines does it for the little guys!
Four airlines have won prizes in the 2015 US ANNIES, with Allegiant Air adding to its trophy cabinet a win in the prestigious “Airline with the biggest increase in the number of US airports in its network” category. Other winners are Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and Azul Airlines.
JetBlue Airways now connects Washington Reagan, VA to Fort Myers, FL, Jacksonville, FL and Palm Beach, FL, as well as San Francisco, CA to Las Vegas, NV, using its E190s and A320s. Competes against US Airways, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines and Virgin America.
Frontier Airlines commences seven new routes from Houston Intercontinental, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Trenton, NJ and Washington Dulles, VA. Competes against United Airlines, US Airways, Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines on five of the new additions.
Spirit Airlines now links Boston to West Palm Beach with daily flights, using A320s. Competes against JetBlue Airways.
