Produced between 1946 and 1958 in the Soviet Union, the GAZ-manufactured ‘Pobeda’ car (it means Victory) has been adapted for many purposes. The name has now been adopted by Aeroflot’s LCC (formerly known as Dobrolet), which was launched (or is that relaunched) this week from Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
