Iberia is the largest operator at Madrid Airport. Services provided by its mainline operation, Iberia Regional and Iberia Express account for 42% of all departing seat capacity from Madrid during the week commencing 10 October 2017. The next largest carrier is Air Europa which will provide 15% of the departing seats from the Spanish capital.

Vueling’s S16 route droppings revealed; 39 airport pairs no longer served with Rome Fiumicino and Barcelona seeing biggest changes
Vueling has grown its network from fewer than 100 routes to almost 400 in the space of just six years. We reveal those routes that were dropped this summer across the airline’s network of 156 airports. A total of 42 airports were involved.
