In May Airbus and Boeing combined handed over 119 units to customers, up from 116 deliveries in May 2017. Of those deliveries, 31 went to low-cost operators. Among the highlights for May include Air Italy receiving its first 737 MAX 8, while LEVEL collected its latest A330-200 for its Paris Orly base.

Boeing opens up a 17-unit lead over Airbus during the first month of the 2018 delivery race; TUI Group gets first MAX
Airbus and Boeing kick-started 2018 with a total of 71 deliveries between them in January, up two from a total of 69 unit handovers in the same month last year. Despite the improvement on month one of 2017, the duo’s productivity result for last month was 195% lower than December’s performance.

Airbus and Boeing increased productivity in November by 15%, delivering a combined 144 aircraft; Emirates welcomes 100th A380
Airbus and Boeing together delivered 144 aircraft in November, resulting in a 15% increase in productivity when compared to the 125 units they handed over in November 2016. The result of month 11 is the best that the duo have registered this year in terms of deliveries, beating the 139 units they distributed in June.

A total of 119 aircraft were delivered by Airbus and Boeing in October, 11 more units than the pair managed during the same month of 2016. For only the second time this year, Airbus led the delivery charge, with it handing over seven more aircraft than Boeing in the tenth month of this year.

Airbus handed over 55 aircraft in September, while its North American rival Boeing distributed 78. Of the 133 aircraft delivered, 73% were narrow-body and 27% wide-body. By delivering 23 more units than Airbus in month nine of 2017, Boeing has extended the lead over its European rival to 100 aircraft in the 2017 delivery race.
