Australian domestic market growth still defying global trends; Tiger, Jetstar and Virgin Blue stimulating Gold Coast traffic
Australia’s domestic market must be one of the few that is still seeing air traffic growth, even if it is slowing. Which are the fastest-growing domestic routes and which two destinations has Tiger dropped from Melbourne?
This week sees several airlines venturing into new markets including Bahrain Air, Cimber Air, Kenya Airways, Pacific Blue, Qantas, Shenzhen Airlines and Volaris. So where were Ryanair’s new routes this week? Well, surprise surprise, there weren’t any.
