Oh, and Ryanair started some new routes as well. What a surprise.

Interjet has grabbed 10% share of Mexican domestic market; has applied for California and Texas flights
With a dozen A320s based in Toluca Interjet has grabbed 10% of the Mexican market in less than thee years. It competes head-to-head with Volaris on several domestic routes. Now, after abandoning flights to Guatemala the airline is targeting the US.
In just 18 months Volaris has grown from nothing to be Mexico’s largest LCC and Mexico’s fourth biggest domestic airline.
